How to Reset WordPress?

There are a lot of different ways to reset WordPress itself, however if you have access to the wp-admin dashboard I suggest resetting WordPress with a plugin.

In case you don’t have access to the cPanel and only to the wp-admin area, this is the option to go through.

There are a bunch of plugins that fit this purpose and here are the most well known:

The first step would be to install the WP Reset plugin and you can do that directly from your admin dashboard by going to Plugins > Add New and search for “wp reset“.

After installing the WP Reset plugin, activate it and navigate to Tools > WP Reset.

    • Hi Michael,
you can reset WP from your cPanel by deleting the database or from PHPMyAdmin by dropping all the tables in the database. After that simply visit your site and go through the installation process once again.

Hope this helps, however if you can’t figure it out just jump on the chat and I’ll take care of it for you. Cheers!
